Katie Fetzer
Founder & President
Katie serves 10.18 Strategy from a wealth of experience gained from her career as an entrepreneur, business consultant, executive officer, and strategist over the last seventeen years. Before founding 10.18 Strategy, Katie was a business consultant for over ten years, serving both for-profit and non-profit leaders with innovative strategies that brought solutions to complex problems. Katie has served on the board of directors of multiple non-profit organizations bringing both national impact and international aid. As a foster/adopt parent and former court-appointed child advocate, her desire to impact the lives of vulnerable children is a deeply personal and heartfelt.
Crystal Samson
Director of Donor Service
Crystal serves 10.18 Strategy from a wealth of experience gained from her career over the last fifteen years working in corporate America, focusing on sales to Fortune 500 companies. Before her career in sales, Crystal spent ten years working in the legal field. She completed her undergraduate internship as a Victim Advocate in the sex crimes unit at the Jackson County Prosecutors Office. Crystal is passionate about the mission of 10.18 Strategy serving the most vulnerable of our community. She has been a major driving force in the development of the organization and articulating our message clearly.
Marsha Garrett
Director of Community Engagement
Marsha serves 10.18 Strategy from a wealth of experience gained from her career in service to children as an educator, business owner, and non-profit director. She is passionate about engaging the church and the community to work together for the care and advocacy of vulnerable children. Marsha is a natural "bridge-builder" and is gifted with the ability to bring people together for a common cause. As a foster/adoptive parent, the 10.18 Strategy mission is deeply personal and heartfelt. Her life is a testimony of the powerful impact you can have in a child’s life when you choose to engage as a community to care for one another.
Alyssa Whitman
Director of Family Services
Alyssa serves 10.18 Strategy from a wealth of experience and passion gained from her career in service to victimized children. As a former child welfare investigator and family licensing specialist, she has served the cause of protecting children for over a decade. Alyssa burns with great passion to see children protected and advocated for. With three generations of adoption in her family, she knows firsthand the life-changing impact a family can provide a child in need. Making her a passionate advocate of courageous families who step up to care for vulnerable children. Alyssa's commitment to the cause of children goes well beyond job function, it is a calling she lives for.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
10.18 Strategy's Board of Directors serves to define and protect the mission and purpose of the organization. They also help guide the adoption of new policy and ensure that all corporate activities are aligned with our strategic objectives, ensuring we carry those out with excellence, integrity, and accountability. As part of the Board's role, they review and approve items such as annual budget proposals, new growth opportunities, building projects and compensation.

Kenda Tomes
Secretary
Kenda brings to the table a passion for justice and freedom for all. She is a partner at Stinson LLP, known as a strong, creative, and efficient advocate for her clients. Kenda began her legal career in 1992 and has spent most of it representing clients in connection with disclosure issues, financing transactions, and compliance. For over 10 years, Kenda has lead the firm’s Structured Finance and Securitization practice and is experienced in the full range of structured finance transactions. As a mother of a beautiful, successful daughter and board member of 10.18 Strategy, she seeks justice and freedom for neglected and abused children. Peace for children is not the absence of war or violence but happens when they experience love in their home. This includes provision, protection, patience, kindness, caring, structure, and professional advocacy. As a board member for 10.18 Strategy, she hopes to empower 10.18 Strategy to help foster families provide this kind of love to the children in their care.

Jennifer Smeltzer
Board Member
Jennifer serves 10.18 Strategy from a wealth of experience gained from her career as a professional educator, realtor, and entrepreneur. Jennifer has served in a variety of non-profit and ministry leadership positions with a strong background in curriculum development and training. Her heart is to bring the hope of God's justice thru the lens of the knowledge of God. Jennifer's drive is from a deep passion to see the Body of Christ rise up in strength and mobilize, to impact the lives of the hurting and the broken. This passion drives her dedication to the 10.18 Strategy mission.
Donna Friesen
Board Member
Donna serves 10.18 Strategy from a depth of love for children. Her experience and 15+ year career in corporate accounting bring our board an additional level of accountability and excellence. Donna has been a key sounding board during the development of 10.18 Strategy. She uses her strengths of compassion to carry the Lord's heart into every situation. She has served her church family alongside her husband as worship pastors for years. Donna has a deep passion for helping people, building communities, and praying for vulnerable children.
